TEKNIK RELAKSASI BENSON TERHADAP PENURUNAN NYERI DAN TANDA-TANDA VITAL PADA IBU POST PARTUM SC

Background : Labor in a way serctio Caesarean is action surgery on the mother's abdomen with method slice for emit the baby she was carrying . This caesarean section procedure causes pain in the incision wound area. Efforts are needed to provide the Benson relaxation technique which is expected to reduce the pain of post partum SC mothers. The researcher's aim was to determine the effect of the Benson relaxation technique on reducing pain and vital signs in mothers post partum caesarean section.

Method :The research design used a one group pre test-post test design in a room with a sample size of 14 post partum sectio caesarea mothers from RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar and Aisyiyah Hospital Bojonegoro.

Analysis: Bivariate data analysis using the Paired T test and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test using the SPSS 24 program to test differences in pain scores and vital signs before and after the intervention.

Results : There were statistically significant differences observed in pain scores (p=0.000) and vital signs (p=0.000) with a significant p value of 0.05. The analysis showed that p = 0.000 < 0.05, which means there was a decrease in the pain scale and vital signs after being given the Benson relaxation technique.

Conclusion :The Benson relaxation technique is effective in reducing pain and vital signs in post partum caesarean section mothers
