Evaluasi dan Desain Ulang Website SMP Negeri 8 Sampit menggunakan Metode Design Thinking

Schools are not free to the impact of rapidly developing technology in today's era, one form of technology that exists within the scope of schools is the website. SMP Negeri 8 Sampit is one of the schools that implements a website to be a source of information related to the school. However, the website of SMP Negeri 8 Sampit is still not perfect because the appearance is considered less attractive, up-to-date and creative. Based on initial observations made to users, namely students and teachers, more than 50% of users stated that the school website needed improvements in terms of appearance or User Interface (UI). The study was conducted to make changes to the appearance of the website, find out data from the evaluation results between the initial website and the website after the improvements were made, the System Usability Testing (SUS) method was used to see the value of the website before and after changes were made to the design, and the Design Thinking method was used to make changes to the appearance of the website. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the appearance of the SMP Negeri 8 Sampit website did require design changes to its appearance.
