Abstract
The Pasuruan Regent Office is the center of local government that facilitates government operations and supports development and community service management (Ashar et al., 2018). In the construction project of the Pasuruan Regent office building, the structure uses reinforced concrete.
Basically, the use of reinforced concrete in building structures whose length is considered less effective because the dimensions of the size of the resulting beam will be larger and this affects the dead load produced, so that it has an impact on when the structure withstands earthquake force. Therefore, other alternatives are needed, such as redesigning using composite steel structures. The planning concept uses the Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method and uses the Special Moment Bearer Frame (SRPMK) system.
From the planning results, composite plate dimensions with t 120 mm were used, floordeck type W-1000 base metal thickness 0.70 mm, M10 -175 wiremesh reinforcement produced from PT. Union Metal, the steel profile on the child beam is WF 350x175x7x11, WF X axis main beam 450x200x9x14, Y axis head beam WF 600x200x11x17. For the columns use an 800x300 KC profile. The connection uses BSEP (Bolts Stiffened End Plate). And for the base plate, the dimensions are 1000x1000 mm with a total of anchors of 4-Ø32 mm and a length of 1000 mm. Further studies are needed in the planning of steel structures that use column variations and it is necessary to use considerations in construction and architectural management aspects in order to produce a plan that is in accordance with field conditions.
