PELESTARIAN BUDAYA JAWA MELALUI TEMBANG MACAPAT (Studi Fenomenologi Pada Komunitas Macapat di Museum Gubug Wayang Mojokerto)

Thesis with the title "Preservation of Javanese Culture Through Tembang Macapat (Phenomenological Study on Tembang Macapat Community in Museum Gubug Wayang Mojokerto). Macapat is a form of traditional poetry in the Javanese language that is arranged following certain guidelines. The preparation of tembang macapat is subject to the provisions regarding the number of lines, the number of syllables, and the final rhyme of each line known as guru gatra, guru lagu, and guru wilangan. This research focuses on the function of tembang macapat for the members of the tembang macapat pudhak wangi community in Museum Gubug Wayang Mojokerto. The purpose of this research is to know and understand the function of the content of tembang macapat. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive type of research which is a type of study to examine human culture systematically. Data analysis used in this research is the perspective of cultural functionalism from Bronislow Malinowski. So it can be concluded from the research conducted on members of the Pudhak Wangi tembang macapat community at the Museum Gubug Wayang Mojokerto, it produces findings that tembang macapat has a function for everyday life, especially for community members.
