Abstract

This study aims to see how the evaluation of the implementation of CPNS Basic Training at the Yogyakarta Special Region Education and Training Agency. Human resources have a major influence on the progress of a country in facing challenges in the global era. Basic Training for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) is a training or training that is carried out under the auspices of the training and education agency. The Yogyakarta Special Region Education and Training Agency has the responsibility to carry out Basic Training for CPNS. Latsar CPNS is carried out with the aim of increasing competence which is carried out in an integrated manner. The implementation of CPNS Basic Training must be accompanied by an evaluation at the end of each program implementation. This is because the implementation evaluation has a very important role to be able to improve the quality of the training implementation carried out and to measure the desired training achievement. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method that uses the Kirkpatrick Model Training Evaluation theory. The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of CPNS Basic Training in 2022 organized by the Yogyakarta Special Region Education and Training Agency has been carried out in accordance with the Decree of the State Administration Agency relating to the Guidelines for the Implementation of CPNS Basic Training and has an impact on increasing the knowledge, skills, and building the attitudes of alumni from Latsar. The existence of CPNS Basic Training in 2022 is able to improve the performance of alumni trainees individually and organizationally. This can be proven by the actualization of Basic Training alumni, the majority of which have been running and on time in accordance with what has been arranged.
