Abstract
This research aims to develop digital teaching materials that contain multimodal texts to improve non-literary text writing skills for high school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The development of these teaching materials involves analyzing the needs of students and teachers, designing including text, images, video and audio, as well as field trials to measure the effectiveness of the teaching materials. The research results show that multimodal text-based digital teaching materials can improve students' writing skills significantly. Students become more involved in the learning process, and are able to integrate various multimodal elements in their writing. These teaching materials also provide greater flexibility and accessibility in the learning process. Thus, it is hoped that the development of digital teaching materials can be an effective alternative in learning to write non-literary texts at the high school level.
