Abstract
Several regions have implemented regulations governing the use of sound horeg, including noise level limits, usage times, and locations where sound horeg can be used. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which the police and local government play a role in regulating, monitoring, and enforcing regulations related to the use of sound systems that exceed the limits, and to analyze the applicable legal provisions related to the use of sound systems in the Karangploso Subistrict. The study employs empirical research using a socio-legal approach, wherein the author examines the existing legal aspects, how the law is applied in the social context, and whether its application can affect the community. To address the problem of sound system usage that exceeds the limits, collaboration between the district government, village government, and active participation from the community is key. Through synergistic coordination steps, such as the preparation of clear regulations, extensive socialization, and consistent law enforcement, it is hoped that a more orderly and harmonious environment can be created for all people.
