RESOLUSI KONFLIK ANGGOTA ORGANISASI MAHASISWA DAERAH DI KOTA MALANG (Studi Pada Ikatan Keluarga Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Lombok Timur - IKPM dan Kerukunan Keluarga Sape, Bima - KKSM)

Abstract : This study aims to find out the factors that cause and the process of conflict resolution between the regional student organizations of the East Lombok Student and Student Family Association (IKPM) and the Sape, Bima Family Harmony (KKSM). This study uses a qualitative research method with the type of case study. In this study, data collection was carried out through interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The validity test of the data used in this study uses a credibility test. The results of this study found that (1) the factors causing the conflict due to personal grudges resulted in an attack on one of the supporters from the regional student organization of the East Lombok Student and Student Family Association (IKPM) and cultural differences affect the way of communication between the two organizations which can ultimately worsen the conflict situation. (2) The conflict resolution process is carried out by negotiating but not succeeding in reaching a peace agreement due to the heated atmosphere and lack of effective communication. So that it continues to the mediation stage by involving a third party (mediator). At this stage, the two organizations managed to reach a peace agreement.
