PENGARUH KINERJA LINGKUNGAN DAN BIAYA LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2023)

The purpose of this study is to determine how the application of environmental costs and environmental performance impacts profitability. Environmental costs and environmental performance are independent variables in this study, while profitability, measured by Return on Equity (ROE) ratio, is the dependent variable. The study population consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2023. The sample for this study is selected using purposive sampling method, totaling 36 companies. Data used in this study are sourced from financial reports downloadable from www.idx.co.id. Hypothesis testing is conducted using multiple regression analysis. Data analysis is performed using Stata 14 software. The research findings indicate that environmental performance significantly influences profitability with a probability value of 0.040 < 0.05. Environmental costs, however, do not significantly affect profitability, with a probability value of 0.930 > 0.05.
