ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PENGGUNAAN DAUN SALAM (SYZYGIUM POLYANTHUM) DAN DAUN ALPUKAT (PERSEA AMERICANA MILL) PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI DESA BANJAREJO KABUPATEN MALANG

Background: As we age, various problems will easily arise, especially problems related to high blood pressure or commonly called hypertension. Mild symptoms such as dizziness or headache, frequent restlessness, red face, stiff neck, irritability, ringing in the ears, difficulty sleeping, shortness of breath, feeling heavy in the neck, easily tired, flashing eyes, nosebleeds.
Method: The research method for this Final Scientific Paper for Nurses uses case study research. In this case study, the patients used 2 patients with the same medical diagnosis, namely Hypertension. The researcher used a scientific method in accordance with the rules of the nursing process which include: Assessment, Data Analysis, Nursing Intervention and Nursing Implementation, and Nursing Evaluation. In the data collection process, the author used interview / anamnesis techniques, observation, documentation studies related to the 2 patients studied
Results: Based on the cases in 2 patients, the researcher raised a nursing diagnosis, namely Acute Pain related to Physiological Injury Agents (Hypertension). The provision of interventions based on the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI) namely Pain Management, with additional interventions namely treatment using herbal plants. After the intervention, the results of decreased blood pressure were obtained.
Discussion: The main nursing problem in the 2 cases in this study was pain acute and pain management interventions were carried out and treatment using herbal plants as additional interventions were studied. Researchers recommend treatment using herbal plants as additional measures in hypertensive patients
