Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of the work environment and workload on employee performance for employees of the Banyuwangi Regency Housing and Settlement Public Works Department. The population in this study was 47 employees using total sampling. The type of research used is quantitative research. The collection technique is carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data measurement technique in this research uses a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses a range of scales and multiple linear regression. The results of the research state that the work environment is good, workload is high, and employee performance is high. The results of data analysis found that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, workload had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the work environment had a stronger effect on employee performance.
