Abstract
Physical limitations are not an obstacle to achieving success for people with disabilities. However, the many challenges faced by people with physical disabilities cannot be separated from social discrimination and anxiety. Therefore, there is a need for resilience in individuals with disabilities so that they are able to survive in various conditions in the future. The purpose of this research is to determine the resilience process for people with physical disabilities at the UPT. Social Rehabilitation of Bina Daksa Pasuruan and the factors that can influence resilience. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation, with interactive model qualitative data analysis techniques (Miles and Huberman). The results of this research show that to achieve resilient individuals with different backgrounds causing individuals to experience disabilities, people with physical disabilities go through the same processes but with different conditions, including: Adversity, Adjustment, Recovery, and thriving. The factors that influence the resilience process are factors within the individual, factors from the environment, self-control, achievements and extensive relationships.
