Abstract

Based on the results of the needs analysis through observations and interviews in class 2 of SDN Landungsari 2 on October 18-20, 2023 there is a problem of lack of understanding of fraction material in learning mathematics. The lack of learning media available at the school results in a lack of enthusiasm for learning from students and many feel bored in the learning process because the teacher only uses the lecture method, package books, and makeshift media. This research aims to create active learning and in accordance with the needs of students in the learning process by developing learning media Keratung (Train Motion Count) in order to create a fun and enjoyable learning atmosphere.
This research uses the ADDIE model which has 5 stages, namely 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The subjects of this study were grade 2 students of SDN Landungsari 2, totaling 15 students.
The results of the Keratung (Train Motion Count) media development obtained a material validation value with a percentage of 94% with a note worth using without revision and media validation with a percentage of 91% with a note worth using with revision. While the student response gets a percentage of 95% and the teacher response gets a percentage of 85%. The final evaluation test results get an average of 87%. So it can be concluded that Keratung (Train Motion Count) media is feasible to use in learning math.
