Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted with the class 2 homeroom teacher at SDN Ngasem 03 Malang, an analysis of students' needs was obtained, namely the need for concrete learning teaching materials to support learning, especially reading and viewing materials. This aims to make it easier for students to understand the material and be more active in participating in learning.
The research objective is to develop ABACA (I Can Read) teaching materials for Indonesian language learning using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The subjects of this researcher were all 2nd grade students at SDN Ngasem 03 Malang, totaling 14 people. There are two analytical techniques used, namely descriptive and qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive.
The results of the material expert questionnaire validation show a percentage of 92.5%, while the results of the media expert questionnaire validation show a percentage of 88%. Meanwhile, the results of the educators' responses show a score percentage of 88.75% and the results of the participant response questionnaire show a score percentage of 97.5%. Based on the results of these calculations, it is stated that the ABACA teaching materials, reading materials in Indonesian language lessons for grade 2 elementary school, are valid and can be used to learn Indonesian.
