Abstract

Learning media and learning resources are currently developing rapidly using various information technologies, and one of the technologies that is developing rapidly is smartphones. Learning media that utilizes cell phones or smartphones is called mobile learning (M-Learning). M-learning is an alternative for developing learning media that is easy to use and practical. The aim of this research is to produce learning media based on the Learning Tajwid application and to determine the influence of developing media based on the Learning Tajwid application in increasing students' interest in learning the Koran at TPQ Miftahul Huda Petungsewu Malang. The development model in this research refers to research and development design according to Borg and Gall. The research and development stage proposed by Borg & Gall consists of 10 steps, namely: (1) Research and data collection, (2) planning, (3) Development of initial product draft, (4) Initial field trials, (5) Revision trial results, (6) Field trials, (7) Product revision, (8) Field implementation trials, (9) Final product revision, (10) Dissemination and implementation. The results of this development research are that learning media based on the Learning Tajwid application has succeeded in increasing students' interest in learning the Koran in learning Tajwid Science, based on the final score obtained from the results of the student response questionnaire to the media of 673 out of a maximum score of 700, with a percentage final 96% with the criteria "Very Appropriate", meaning that learning media based on the Learning Tajwid application is said to be suitable for use in the learning process every day, and can be an innovation to increase students' interest in learning and make the learning process more enjoyable.
