Abstract

Science studies studies living things and inanimate objects in the universe and
their interactions, as well as studying human life as individuals and social creatures who
interact with their environment. The research objective to be achieved in this research
is to produce a digital comic learning media development product on the solar system
material for class 6 SDN 012 Samboja.
This research uses development research and this type of research uses the
ADDIE type model. This model is structured programmatically with systematic
sequences of activities in an effort to solve learning problems related to learning
resources that suit the needs and characteristics of students. This model consists of five
steps, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5)
evaluation. This research and development produced a product in the form of digital
comic media for learning science and science material on the solar system for grade 6
elementary schools. The impact of this digital comic media makes students more
enthusiastic and active in learning science and technology about the solar system.
The results of the research were obtained from qualitative and quantitative data.
The results of the percentage, namely: (1) The percentage of the validation results of
material experts is 85%, (2) the percentage of media valiation results is 86%, (3) the
percentage of the results of the validation of teacher user responses is 98%, (4) the
results of student evaluation through operational tests with an average score of 100%. It
can be concluded that the digital comic media development process (MIGI) is suitable
for use in the learning process. Advice given to researchers for media development
(MIGI) Digital comics, namely media (MIGI), are further developed in other learning
materials.
