Abstract

This study aims to explore how financial literacy, financial attitude, and financial self-efficacy affect the financial behavior of Generation Z in Malang City. The research involved 100 respondents, selected through simple random sampling, specifically targeting Generation Z individuals aged 20–24 years in Malang City. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires distributed through social media platforms, and the analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software version 29. The findings indicate that both financial literacy and financial attitude positively and significantly impact the financial behavior of Generation Z in Malang City. However, financial self-efficacy does not show a significant effect on their financial behavior, likely due to a lack of confidence in their ability to manage, organize, and save money.
