ANALISIS ISI PESAN TENTANG CITRA IBU DALAM LAGU "BERTAUT" KARYA NADIN AMIZAH

The song serves as a mass communication medium, where musical composition is used to convey messages through lyrics. The role of musicians, such as Nadin Amizah, can be categorized as communicators, with song lyrics serving as tools to deliver messages from the author to the listener. Messages expressed through lyrics encompass various expressions like anxiety, anger, love, which are then received by listeners as message recipients. This process involves communication realized through musical symbols, both in terms of melody and lyrics. Therefore, this study aims to understand and describe how Nadin Amizah utilizes song lyrics as a communication medium to shape the image of a mother through her songs. The research also employs image theory, a qualitative approach, and content analysis techniques. The findings show that the lyrics of "Bertaut" depict the image of a mother in several significant aspects. First, Nadin Amizah as a songwriter uses lyrics as an effective communication tool to convey emotional messages to listeners. Second, various forms of maternal love and affection are portrayed in the lyrics, highlighting the crucial role of mothers in a child's life. Third, the lyrics emphasize that a child is a reflection of their mother, with the desired image being the best to create a brilliant generation. Fourth, without a mother's image and support, a child tends to feel lacking and lost in facing life's challenges.
