Forms of Resistance to Patriarchal Culture in the Film Photocopier (Content Analysis of the Film Photocopier by Wregas Bhanuteja), Communication Studies Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, 2024.

Film is an audio-visual media work that can be used as a platform to provide messages to the audience. Film is also a media product that also conveys moral values, social criticism. In the movie directed by Wregas Bhanuteja with the title Photocopier produced by Rekata Studio and Kaninga Picture which tells the story of a woman who is a victim of harassment. Suryani, a victim of sexual harassment and violence, found her indecent photos spread online as a result of which Suryani was terminated from her scholarship from the university. Suryani continues to seek justice in various ways. The movie also depicts the struggle against the patriarchal culture that dominates the social and academic environment.
This research uses a quantitative approach through content analysis to explain the results of content analysis and uses per sentence measurement units. This research uses the help of 2 coders who are selected by experience in analyzing the content of the film Photocopier with a duration of 2 hours 10 minutes. The data collection technique uses observation of sentence documentation in the film Photocopier then analyzed by scoring using a frequency distribution table. The tests used in this research include validity and reliability tests of the results of the analysis that have the correctness of the measure and the reliability of the measure using the Holsti formula and the Scott formula.
The results of this study show the percentage of forms of patriarchal resistance in the film Photocopier as follows; Women realize equal human rights with a frequency of 11.4%; Women do not feel afraid with a frequency of 35.08%; Women are able to control emotions with a frequency of 16.7%; Women do not feel ashamed with a frequency of 18.4%; Women get power with a frequency of 18.4%.
