Abstract
One form of effort to improve the ability of students to understand the role of media is needed. This is done based on an analysis of the needs that exist at SDN 2 Kreteranggon, namely the lack of variety and use of media in learning. Teachers rely on package books as the main tool for delivering material. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the ecosystem material for IPAS learning requires a learning media that can be used as a material delivery tool. The purpose of this research is to produce development products in the form of media lift the flap book through stories on ecosystem material for IPAS class 5 elementary school subjects.
This research uses the ADDIE research and development model, which consists of five stages namely analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The research subjects were grade V students of SDN 2 Kreteranggon, totaling 7 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The research instruments used observation guidelines, interview guidelines, questionnaire guidelines. Data analysis techniques use two techniques, namely qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.
The results of material validation get a percentage value of 94% and media validation gets a percentage value of 90%. From both validation results, the media is said to be valid and can be implemented to fifth grade students. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire received a percentage of 94% and the results of the teacher response questionnaire were 94%. The average result of students' evaluation questions is 90. It can be said that the use of learning media can make it easier for students to understand the material. This research can be used as a reference for future research, especially on ecosystem material or can be expanded to other materials.
