Abstract

The implementation of the Green School Eco Brick program began in August 2023, at which time Batu City was said to be in a waste emergency situation due to the closure of the Tlekung landfill. The condition of Batu City is said to be a waste emergency so that all agencies and communities are urged to be able to manage and minimize the amount of waste. SDN Ngaglik 4 Batu conducts waste management through Green School Eco Brick activities. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Green School Eco Brick program implemented at SDN Ngaglik 4 Batu.
The research method uses a qualitative approach, with a descriptive research type. This research was conducted at SDN Ngaglik 4 Batu in March - April 2024. The subjects of this research were the principal, teachers of grades III and IV, students of grades III and IV totaling 27 students. How to collect data with observation, interviews, and documentation. The research stages are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of data using two techniques, namely triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques.
Planning of the Green School Eco Brick program using the EE curriculum guide. Implementation of the Green School Eco Brick program is carried out after recess, there is no special day, only classes III and IV, carried out by collecting waste, sorting waste, cutting waste, putting waste in bottles then compacted. Evaluation of the implementation of the Green School Eco Brick program, students are more responsive to waste in the environment, have knowledge related to waste management, are more creative in managing waste, students are less precise in applying the stages of cutting waste, and there is no special place in the implementation.
