Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research aims to investigate the application of hypnotherapy techniques in cases of children with speech delay at the Roemah Singgah Hypnotherapy Clinic and to assess the outcomes of applying hypnotherapy techniques in these cases, as well as to determine the effectiveness of hypnotherapy techniques in enhancing the communication abilities of children with speech delay. The research method applied is qualitative descriptive analysis, with data obtained through interviews and observations. The study seeks to understand the application, outcomes, and effectiveness of hypnotherapy techniques in improving the communication of children with speech delay. The research subjects consist of 15 (fifteen) child patients with speech delay at the Roemah Singgah Hypnotherapy Clinic. The author conducted observations and interviews with patient and their family who are taken care by therapists and the owner of the Roemah Singgah Hypnotherapy Clinic regarding the methods of handling speech delay cases in children. It is concluded that with hypnotherapy techniques, particularly hypnosleep, applied to children with speech delay, there is a significant improvement in communication, both in the number of new words spoken and in the two-way communication responses exhibited by the children. as well as changes in emotions and behavior that emerged. Furthermore, further research is needed regarding the application of hypnotherapy techniques to treat cases in children, not limited to speech delay.
