Abstract
The Mumtaz Tilawah Qur’an featured program is crucial because it functions to shape the character and spirituality of Muslim society through understanding and appreciation of the Qur’an. SDI Mohammad Hatta Malang implements this program to provide religious understanding and good attitudes to the students, with the hope that they have an attitude of faith, righteous, and noble character. This program aims to make a significant contribution in shaping the positive character of students, so this research focuses on analyzing the implementation of the program as an attempt to instill an attitude of faith and piety in the younger generation of Muslims.
The research method used in this study is qualitative at SDI Mohammad Hatta by focusing on the Principal, Mentor Teacher, Students, and Parents. In this study using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. With the data analysis stage through data collection, data presentation, data analysis, and conclusion.
The implementation of the Mumtaz Tilawah Qur’an featured program at school has been carried out well despite facing several obstacles. The activities in this program are neatly organized and run effortlessly, and the assessment of the attitude of faith and devotion to God Almighty has also been well implemented. The Mumtaz Tilawah Qur’an featured program has a positive impact for the attitude of faith and devotion of SDI Mohammad Hatta students based on interviews and observations, students feel happy to memorize and read the Qur’an, and practice these teachings at home without coercion, including doing the 5 daily prayers.
