Abstract
Solar modules/panels are a medium for converting solar photon energy into electrical energy, of which there are several types, namely monocrystaline, polycrystaline and thin film. Some of these types have different efficiencies. The solar panel modules that are often used in Indonesia are monocrystalline and polycrystalline types, therefore it is necessary to know the efficiency values of several types of solar panel modules so that we can use them optimally and effectively. One of the factors that influences the performance of a solar module/panel is the temperature of the panel. Meanwhile, what influences the temperature of solar panels is (1) environmental temperature (ambient temperature), (2) temperature coefficient (Temperature Coefficient), (3) wind speed (wind velocity) and (4) type of solar panel installation. Therefore, the parameters Temperature is an important consideration factor in designing PLTS installations because high panel temperatures will actually reduce the performance of the panels themselves. It is important to understand that the output power of solar panels can be affected by solar radiation that hits the surface of the solar panel directly.
