Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job descriptions on employee performance through job satisfaction as intervening on virtual hotel operation (VHO) employees in Malang City. The sample in this study amounted to 100 employees who worked at VHO. The data collection technique in this study used a survey or questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that job descriptions have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job descriptions have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job descriptions have no significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.
