Abstract
This thesis is entitled The Korean Tourism Organization's Strategy for Indonesia Through Social Media. This research analyzes the Korea Tourism Organization's strategy in increasing Indonesian people's awareness and interest in South Korean culture and tourism through social media. This research uses the concept of public diplomacy which can be used by actors, both government and non-government actors, with the aim of realizing resources using communication to attract the attraction of the people of Indonesia towards South Korean tourism and culture. Apart from that, this research also uses qualitative methods using a descriptive approach and using data collection techniques through library research or literature study. The results of this research show that social media strategies are successful in attracting public attention, especially through providing content from the Korea Tourism Organization. KTO not only presents interesting and varied content on various platforms, such as travel videos, vlogs, photos of tourist destinations, and cultural stories, but also uses interesting images and content related to Indonesian viewing interests to help build a positive image of South Korea. This makes it possible to create a more targeted and effective social media strategy and ensure that the content provided matches the interests and needs of the audience.
