PENGARUH UMUR TERHADAP KUALITAS SEMEN DI BBIB SINGOSARI

One of the determining factors for the success of artificial insemination is the quality of the semen produced by the bull. Semen quality is also influenced by internal and external factors, one of the internal factors is the age of the male. This research was conducted to review existing research, the research was carried out in December 2023 – February 2024 and was carried out at the Center for Artificial Insemination. The data obtained is secondary data from recording fresh cement production in January 2023. The analysis used in analyzing this research data was a Completely Randomized Design (RAL), in this study the variables observed were the quality of fresh cement which included pH, Volume, Concentration and motility. If the data from each variable is processed using the RAL method and shows significantly different results, then the analysis is carried out by further testing using the Duncan test. The results of the analysis carried out on the pH of fresh semen showed that the results were not significantly different (P>0.05), which means that age is not significantly different, for the volume of data produced was significantly different (P<0.05), which means that age has an influence on volume of fresh semen produced by the bull, Duncan's further test was carried out. The results obtained from the concentration data analysis are very significantly different (P<0.01) and the same as the motility results obtained, namely very significantly different (P<0.01), so both must be carried out by Duncan's further test.
