Abstract
Based on the needs analysis conducted in this study, it was found that fifth-grade elementary school students experience difficulties in understanding ecosystem-related material because learning activities have never used learning media. Therefore, attractive and feasible learning media are needed for teaching Science and Social Studies (IPAS). This study aims to describe the development of Komediputar learning media for the Science and Social Studies subject on ecosystem material for fifth-grade elementary school students.
The type of research used in this study is R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE research model. The ADDIE model consists of 5 stages: Analysis (Analyze), Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation). The analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.
The development of Komediputar media obtained a material expert validation percentage of 85% and a media expert validation percentage of 92.5%. These results indicate that Komediputar media falls into the feasible or good category. Based on the results of the student response questionnaire, a percentage score of 94% was obtained, indicating that Komediputar learning media is categorized as good. Based on the obtained data percentage, it shows that Komediputar media can attract students' attention in learning and improve their understanding of the material, enabling them to complete evaluation questions with above-average results.
