PENGAWASAN PROGRAM BANTUAN PANGAN NON TUNAI DAERAH (BPNTD) OLEH DEWAN PERWAKILAN RAKYAT DAERAH KOTA MALANG

This research aims to examine the supervision of the Regional Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNTD) program by the Malang City DPRD. The Regional BPNT program is a replacement for the RASDA (Regional Rice) food assistance program, in which the Beneficiary Families (KPM) receive assistance which is channeled through banking accounts or banks designated as distribution banks and is intended only for purchasing rice. Effective supervision from the DPRD needs to be implemented so that the BPNTD social welfare program can run and make a good contribution to society.
This study uses qualitative methods. Data was collected through observations and interviews with members of the Malang City DPRD, as well as analysis of reports or documents in the form of written information used in research related to the DPRD's function as supervisory control of the BPNTD program in Malang City. The results of the research state that the form of supervision by the Malang City DPRD is realized through direct supervision by taking recess and going directly into the field as well as indirect supervision, namely through Joint Meetings with related OPDs and Related OPD Report Documents.
The results of this study provide an important contribution to the understanding of its importance supervision of the Regional Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNTD) program by the Malang City DPRD. The resulting recommendations can be a guide for the Malang City DPRD in increasing supervision over the distribution of the BPNTD program so that it can be implemented properly to increase effectiveness and target accuracy distribution help.
