Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring is needed to support current and voltage monitoring in solar power plants (PLTS). This research aims to create a monitoring design for an IoT-based Off Grid PLTS system using the Blynk application. The method used is experimentation by collecting data through voltage testing using a solar charge controller, current testing using an Ampare clamp, and monitoring testing using the Blynk application. The tests carried out are no-load testing and load testing. In the no-load test, voltage data results were obtained from PLTS, Battery and Blynk. Testing the PLTS with the Solar Charge Controller produces voltage from the PLTS, battery and battery temperature. Ampere pliers testing is used on batteries, inverter output, input to AC loads, and MCB output. Then for monitoring using the Blink application it produces power, kwh, voltage, frequency and current. IoT-based voltage, current and power monitoring designs are very effective because they can facilitate monitoring of PLTS.
