Abstract
Twitter is one of the social media based on microblogging sites. This social media is called microblogging because it provides facilities for each user to send and read information. This is the background for researchers to examine one of the Twitter accounts, namely @collegemenfess with the aim of knowing what themes appear and how many frequencies of these themes.
This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive type and content analysis basis. The number of uploads studied was 89 on August 9, 2023 and then grouped into three categories that have been made, namely the categories of education, research, and service. The data coding process was assisted by 2 coders who were in accordance with predetermined criteria, with documentation data collection techniques. The data analysis technique uses frequency distribution data analysis techniques with content validity and reliability tests using the Holsti formula and Scott formula.
The results obtained from the education category obtained a frequency of 30 (33.7%), research frequency of 58 (65.2%) and the category of devotion obtained a frequency of 1 (1.1%). So the theme that appears most often is the theme of research with the highest frequency of 58 times (65.2%).
