Abstract

Brahman Cross is one of the most popular cattle breeds kept by feedlot companies in
Indonesia, because it is one of the cattle that has high productivity, is able to produce good
quality, and has resistance to high temperatures. Requires quality feed such as providing
nutrients as additional feed such as multienzymes which are used to increase feed
digestibility and nutrient absorption. This study aims to determine the effect of
consumption, body weight gain, and conversion in the provision of premix and multienzyme
in Brahman Cross steers in the grower phase. This research method uses quantitative
exsperiment method T test of two treatments. The variables observed were feed
consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion. The average value of feed consumption in
Brahman Cross cattle treated with the addition of premix and multienzyme in feed is 12.47
kg per head. While the average feed consumption during maintenance as a control variable
is 12.62 kg per head. The average value of body weight gain in Brahman cross cattle
1
treated with the addition of premix and multienzyme in feed is 1.90 kg per head. While the
average body weight gain during maintenance as a control variable is 2.13 kg per head.
The average value of feed conversion in Brahman cross cattle treated with the addition of
premix and multienzyme in the feed is 7.16. While the average conversion during
maintenance as a control variable is 7.20. The conclusion of this study is that there is no
effect on body weight gain consumption and feed conversion when given additional
multienzyme in feed.
