Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Simple Repetitive
Speaking Activities method in Indonesian language learning in the UM Laboratory
Kindergarten bilingual class, as well as the role of teachers in its implementation. The
research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was
collected through observation, interviews, reading notes and document analysis.
The results of the study show that the implementation of the Simple Repetitive
Speaking Activities method involves several steps, namely topic selection, vocabulary
preparation, sentence pattern recognition, giving feedback, modifying the context, and
reflecting. Teachers act as facilitators who not only provide examples and directions
but also create a learning atmosphere that supports and motivates students to actively
participate. Teachers also provide constructive feedback and make adjustments based
on students' speaking skill levels.
This research is expected to contribute to the development of Indonesian
learning methods in bilingual classrooms, especially at the early childhood education
level, as well as help teachers in managing learning more effectively and efficiently.
