Abstract
The University of Muhammadiyah Malang has programs that support the organization's vision and mission, one of which is the Student Community Service Program (PMM), which is overseen by the Directorate and Community Service (DPPM). The PMM Program is included in the Semester Credit Unit (SKS), so that the program's objectives have been planned, managed, reported on, and evaluated. However, it has been discovered that the technique is inefficient in its implementation. For example, students must wait for the field supervisor's signature on the proposal and confirm the final score once the PMM is completed, therefore in order to deal with these issues, efficiency and effectiveness processes must be implemented in existing business processes. This research tries to re-engineer existing business processes in order to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. The application of the Business Process Reengineering technique in this study increased the value of business process efficiency. The throughput efficiency test results for the four business processes that have been operating were 83% for the Registration process, 100% for Provisioning, 97% for Implementation, and 84% for Assessment. The throughput efficiency value of each process is increased after re-engineering business processes with process redesign upgrades. The Registration Process accounts for 12% of the entire processing time, whereas Implementation accounts for 3% and Assessment accounts for 16% of the total processing time.
