Abstract
Innovation in learning models in schools needs to be carried out because the use of learning models basically helps the success of the teaching and learning process. The aim of this lesson is to apply the Lesson Study-based Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model to improve student learning outcomes. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use tests and are explained quantitatively descriptively. The population and sample in this research were class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. The implementation of the lesson study-based PBL (Problem-Based Learning) learning model has been implemented in accordance with the RPP plan created by the researcher. Student learning outcomes with the application of the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) learning model based on Lesson Study on excretory system material have proven to increase in the good category and a percentage of 45% of students are in the good category. So that the application of the Lesson Study-based PBL model can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang
