IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM UNGGULAN EKSTRAKURIKULER PENCAK SILAT DI SDN KALIGAMBIR 04

Pencak silat is a martial art that combines parts of the whole body in its application. One of the educational units that carries out pencak silat extracurricular activities is SDN Kaligambir 04. This research aims to describe the process of extracurricular pencak silat activities at SDN Kaligambir 04 such as the implementation of extracurricular pencak silat activities, supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of extracurricular pencak silat activities, as well as the solutions provided in overcome existing obstacles.

This research uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. The research subjects were the principal of the pencak silat training school and the students. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used uses the Miles & Huberman model, which consists of: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.

The results of the research show that: the implementation of extracurricular pencak silat activities carried out from preparation, implementation and evaluation at SDN Kaligambir 04 has been carried out well. Supporting factors in the implementation of extracurricular pencak silat include: existing facilities and infrastructure, trainers who are qualified in the field, support from the school, parents, students and the environment. Inhibiting factors in implementing extracurricular pencak silat include: time discipline, as well as the lack of attention regarding extracurricular pencak silat activities. Solution to overcome existing obstacle factors: create a clear vision and mission regarding pencak silat extracurricular activities, and coaches, schools and the community take part in finding information related to pencak silat activities
