Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the development of learning media montessori division board on division material for grade IV elementary school students. This is done because in class IV SDN Dingil 3 that students are easily bored when learning in class, especially mathematics and do not have facilities in the form of learning media. Based on the needs analysis at SDN Dingil 3, concrete learning media is needed to support learning, especially in division material. This aims to make it easier for students to understand the material and be more active in participating in learning.
This research uses the ADDIE research and development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN Dingil 3, totaling 6 students. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. While this research instrument uses observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and questionnaire guidelines. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.
The development of the Montessori division board learning media obtained material validation results of 91% and media validation results of 82% in the category of very valid for implementation. While the student response questionnaire received a score of 94% and the results of the teacher questionnaire of 95% were in the very good category. This can be interpreted that the development of Montessori division board learning media can increase students' understanding. The disadvantage of the media is that it has a large size so it requires the help of others to carry. It is hoped that the division board media is designed for all students, both regular and non-regular.
