Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems experienced by students in learning Arabic. In practice, students often experience boredom when studying Arabic in the classroom. The aim of this research is to describe the perception of mastery of multimedia-based mufradat in class VIII Arabic language learning at Muhammadiyah Nunukan Middle School, North Kalimantan and the obstacles faced in implementing multimedia-based mufradat mastery methods in Arabic language learning. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is a case study. The objects of this research were 13 students in class VIII of Muhammadiyah Nunukan Middle School. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used was data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this research show that mastery of multimedia-based mufradat in Arabic language learning can run well and receive good responses from class VIII students at Muhammadiyah Nunukan Middle School. The results obtained show that 61% of students like learning Arabic using multimedia-based mufradat mastery and show that 54% of students can actively participate in the learning process using multimedia-based mufradat mastery. As for the obstacles that exist in the field, researchers found that students had problems in were sleepy during the learning process.
