Abstract

This research focuses on how virtual interaction patterns of the K-Pop Treasure Maker Indonesia community and explores what factors contribute to their successful coordination. The researchers aim to understand how this community utilizes virtual communication to foster solidarity on social media platforms. Due to it’s large fan base in Indonesia, this community exhibits distinct communication patterns. Employing a qualitative research method, the study employs communication pattern theory as a framework. The findings highlight that the K-Pop fan community in Indonesia boasts a considerable fan base and actively utilizes social media for communication purposes. Communication patterns play a crucial role in regulating and setting boundaries for Treasure Maker Indonesia members when sharing information. Additionally, various social media platforms are utilized by these fandom members to engage in face-to-face activities and communicate with each other. This demonstrates that communication patterns not only serve as a means of information dissemination but also facilitate interpersonal communication within the community.
