Abstract

This research aims to analyze the extent of the Balangan Regency Government's Technological Readiness to implement E-Government and indicate the problems faced in implementing the concept through the use of descriptive qualitative methods. Data was collected from interviews with the relevant government as well as observations of the condition of infrastructure and technology services in Balangan Regency. The research results show that the legal instruments related to the implementation of the e-government concept are compliant, however internet network services are still quite good, the hardware and software infrastructure is inadequate, the budget is limited, and there is a lack of government human resources who are competent in using technology. This is influenced by geographical constraints, budget priorities, and lack of human resources. The Government continues to collaborate with the private sector to provide internet network services evenly in Balangan Regency, reorganize budget allocations, provide training to Government Human Resources, and conduct mock studies with neighboring Regional Governments. who have implemented e-government well.
