Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews with class 2 teachers at SDN
Mojorejo 01 Batu on October 9 2023. The results of interviews and observations showed that
in class 2 of the school there were still many students who were not yet familiar with time and
duration, and needed media. Concrete learning as a tool to help students learn material over
time and duration. This aims to make it easier for students to understand the material presented
by the teacher and for students to be more active in participating in learning. Apart from that,
this media development can also be accessed by students at home via video barcodes that have
been equipped on the media.
The aim of this research is to develop Big Book 3D learning media for learning
mathematics, material regarding time and duration in class 2 of elementary school. This
development research uses the ADDIE model which has 5 stages, namely analysis, design,
development, implementation and evaluation. The data analysis techniques used in this
research are qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques.
The development of 3D Big Book media obtained material validation results of 86%
and media validation results of 96%. The results of the validation of the material and media
have been categorized as very suitable for implementation. Meanwhile, the student response
questionnaire obtained a score of 96% which was stated by the media as very interesting. This
can be interpreted as saying that the development of Big Book 3D media for Mathematics
Learning, Material for Knowing Time and Duration in class 2 of elementary school can attract
the attention of students so that they are more active in participating in learning
