Abstract

SD Muhammadiyah 05 Batu City in Class III has implemented the IndependentCurriculum which involves 4 components, namely writing, reading, listening and speaking skills. Especially regarding writing skills, one of the problems in Class III is that learning to write is found in Class III. The problem in Class III is learning to write, using punctuation marks in narrative texts and the learning media used by the teacher. There are only a few types of learning media available to students in Class, so students only rely on books and teachers. Based on the needs analysis in Class III, especially in learning to use punctuation in narrative texts, a solution is needed that can reduce the problems that occur in Class III. The answer to this problem is to develop learning media that is attractive to students. The solution to this problem is to develop Interactive Power Point Learning Media Material for Using Punctuation in Narrative Texts in Class III Elementary School.
This research and development uses the ADDIE (Anayze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. This research uses qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The data source was obtained from class III students at SD Muhammadiyah 05 Batu City, totaling 12 students. The research was conducted on 07 and 08 August 2023 with a total of 12 students.
The results of the research show that the development of Interactive Power Point Learning Media Material on the Use of Punctuation in Narrative Texts in class III elementary school is suitable for use by class III students at SD Muhammadiyah 05 Batu City. The value obtained from material experts was 89% and media validation was 96%, so it can be categorized as very feasible. Meanwhile, the response obtained from student responses was 92%, which was categorized as having a very good response. It is recommended that Interactive Power Point Learning Media be used as a reference in learning so that it can be better developed in terms of content and construct.
