Abstract

Human resources are one of the most important assets for a company or organization, some of the efforts taken include human resource management. Every human being has different abilities, skills and creativity. The successful management of human resources can be done by unifying the mindset and performance of employees and leaders to achieve the vision and mission of the organization. This study analyzed the effect of leadership style on employee performance with work motivation as a moderating variable. This research was conducted at PT. Kembang Joyo Sriwijaya with a sample size of 55 employees. The research type used quantitative methods. The data collected in this study used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this research indicate that leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance. there is a significant effect of work motivation on employee performance and work motivation is not moderating the relationship between leadership style and employee performance.
