Abstract

This research aims to internalize Democratic Culture in realizing the Digital Era Pancasila Student Profile at SMP Negeri 3 Malang. SMP Negeri 3 Malang has implemented P5 in August 2023. This implementation requires close cooperation from all stakeholders, especially the Deputy Head of Curriculum, the P5 Team which has been formed at SMP Negeri 3 Malang.
This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research design taking place at SMP Negeri 3 Malang. Data sources were obtained from the head of the curriculum, PPKn teachers, and students with data collection carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses Miles and Hubberman theory
The results of the research show that the internalization of democratic culture in realizing the Pancasila student profile at SMP Negeri 3 Malang is very supportive of the existence of Pancasila student profile activities which are integrated into learning activities that are able to strengthen students' understanding on a project basis called the Paancasila student profile strengthening project which can be shortened to P5. SMP Negeri 3 Malang, with its P5, has been able to teach students about democratic culture in the digital era by providing project-based learning where the project is able to create closer collaboration between students. This activity has more positive impacts than negative impacts. One of the positive impacts is that students who were initially quiet become talkative. One of the negative impacts is regarding time because it takes a long time to provide P5 material so that several subjects are used to explain P5 activities.
