Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work-life balance on employee retention with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study used quantitative research. The sample used in this study was 115 millennial employees of PT. Sucofindo Surabaya Branch. The sampling technique used in this study is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is path analysis assisted by SmartPLS software (4.0). The results of this study found that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee retention. Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee retention. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee retention with job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
