Abstract

Background: Poor coordination between hospitals, which are the primary emergency service providers, and communities in the field often results in prehospital service failures. Prehospital services can be provided by unit safety teams in coordination with medical staff. Purpose: To determine the experience of emergency ambulance nurses in medical management in the prehospital area Design: Qualitative research was used in this study. Methods: This study used an intrinsic case study, i.e. the selected case was an interesting case to study. The AGD room of UMM Hospital served as the research site. Results: Handling trauma and non-trauma patients in prehospital medical management involves various aspects, including evaluation of the patient's condition, wound management, and coordination with doctors and further health facilities. The main challenges involve limited resources and optimal response times. Hope lies in improving the prehospital service system to be more professional, responsive, and able to provide quick and appropriate help to the community. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
