Abstract

With the continuous development of information technology, the existence of an integrated library system can improve the quality of service for users. However, the library of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari still experiences problems in managing library activities, including data collection and report generation. To overcome this, researchers have developed a web-based library administration information system. The system development used the prototyping method, which allows customization to user needs through interaction between researchers and users. In the coding process, the system was built using the Laravel framework with the view controller model concept. Some of the features incorporated into the system include book collection browsing, book data management, book borrowing and returning, as well as management of borrowing reports and visitor data. To ensure the quality of the system, testing was carried out using blackbox testing by researchers and user acceptance tests by library staff. Thus, it is expected that this system can provide an effective solution in improving the efficiency and quality of library services.
