MAKNA RUMAH DALAM FILM JALAN YANG JAUH JANGAN LUPA PULANG (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes)

Movies are not only used as a medium of entertainment, but can be a medium to communicate to the wider community through the messages contained in them. The themes of family, friendship, and romance are often raised in a movie because these themes are very close to people's lives. The purpose of this research is to interpret the meaning of home in the movie Jalan Yang Jauh Jangan Lupa Pulang. This research uses a qualitative approach by explaining and analyzing in detail about events or phenomena in the film Jalan Yang Jauh Jangan Lupa Pulang. The type of research used is interpretative which is used to obtain the meaning of home in depth and breadth. Data collection in this research was carried out by observing the movie Jalan Yang Jauh Jangan Lupa Pulang. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The result of this research is that the house is not just a place of shelter and shelter, but rather a safe "escape" place to solve problems. A safe "escape" to solve problems, as well as a place to calm down from all the emotions that are being felt. Home is not only a physical thing that can be seen by human senses, but also an environment of friendship in which there is warmth and mutual support.
