Abstract

Different dairy cattle rearing management leads to different milk quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between milk production and quality in Pujon and Ngantang shelters. This study used survey method with statistical analysis of t test. Total Solid was not significantly different, the average TS of Pujon was 13.09 percent, Ngantang was 12.64 percent, with results (p>0.05). Protein was significantly different, the average of Pujon was 3.37 percent, Ngantang was 3.25 percent, with the result (p<0.05). Lactose was significantly different, the average of Pujon was 5.08 percent, while Ngantang was 4.88 percent, with the result (p<0.05). milk fat was not significantly different, the average of Pujon was 3.90 percent while Ngantang was 3.98 percent, with the result (p>0.05).
