ANALISIS NILAI KARAKTER SISWA KELAS 5 MELALUI KEGIATAN EKSTRAKULIKULER PRAMUKA DI MI MUHAMMADIYAH NURUL ISLAM SUMBERSUKO

Character education is education that supports the social, emotional, and ethical development of students. Based on a needs analysis conducted through observation and interviews with interest-talent extracurricular teachers, researchers obtained the problems found, namely the formation of students' character through extracurricular activities of interest-talent grade 5. Character building can be carried out from an early age, in addition to forming the character of children at school, it also plays an important role in shaping student character. This school applies leadership character to scouting activities.

This study uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is a descriptive method, aiming to describe the focus of the research, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the assessment stage regarding character values through extracurricular activities of interest in MI Muhammadiyah Nurul Islam Sumbersuko. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews with school principals and extracurricular teachers.

The results of the researchers researched the problem, namely the implementation of activities at MI Muhammadiyah Nurul Islam Sumbersuko, in my opinion, is quite good and good, even though the existing facilities and infrastructure at the school are not fully complete, but the extracurriculars are able to take part in competitions at the national level which One of the extracurricular activities that took part in the competition was Scout extracurricular activities.
